I am home; I am attempting to at least do a little work today, even though I'm tired from travel (why does a short one hour flight seem to be more painful than coast to coast? Perhaps because I was having difficult _all_ _day_ yesterday with the fact that I should have been home...).

I have _no_ idea if I'm catching up on LJ. Anything y'all want me to see, point at it here or through email.

Was a good con, overall. Being somewhat anti-social (probably not obvious to anyone who doesn't know me well) and frequently over-peopleed did make it not as good as it could have been. Got to meet lots of people, both ones I knew online beforehand and not. And got to see people - some of whom I remembered meeting before, and some of whom I recognized - again.

I posted something to my sex filter which you may or may not care about taking a look at. Shorter than most of the stuff I post to my sex filter. :-) Also a brief summary of the chaste parts of my weekend, a bunch of whinging about burst pipes, and the crucial data point that [livejournal.com profile] docorion will be at Diesel tonight.

You know, I don't know if I know who [livejournal.com profile] docorion is... Besides, I was _WAY_ needing time to myself last night.

But yay for a good time at Arisia!

Oh, quite fine! It wasn't a request for your presence, delightful though it always is, just part of my summary of recent posts. We barely fit into the Tibetan restaurant as it was! :-) I hope you got lots of nice alone time.

[livejournal.com profile] docorion is the tall, dark1, and handsome guy I own the house in Malden with. You know, rides a motorcycle, lives in Hawai'i for another month and a half or so, saves lives for pocket money? Used to be partnered with [livejournal.com profile] sionnagh? That one.
1-haired; he's white, although with a southern-European complexion.

I did! Even considering that I was oddly awake at 7:30am (something fell and woke me up), I am _way_ more generally cheery than yesterday evening.

As for description of [livejournal.com profile] docorion, ah... I'm not sure I've ever met him, although I certainly know of him.

Me, too! Was fun. Overwhelming, but fun!

If you're up for my long-ish apc12 report, it's here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kightp/437957.html).

I'm glad I got a chance to meet you. I wish I'd had a chance to actually sit down and talk with you, but that's what I wish for about 99 percent of those who were present!

I likewise had much less chance to talk with you than I would have liked.

'you' = me, 'you' = [livejournal.com profile] kightp, or both? :)

Aah. :)

I was actually fairly anti-social, at least as compared to summertime, so I saw less of most people than I'd have liked. Ah, well. Next time, perhaps!

Yay, con report!

And, agreed on the lack of time to interact problem, but that was my problem all con. Mostly because I was just _not_ as social as I am in summer. As expected.

But, hopefully I shall see you at APC13, which ought to be a bit easier on me, as far as being social (but not as easy as mid-summer would be!).

Fortunately, October in San Diego is almost as good as mid-summer in more northern climes, at least as far as temperate weather and sunshine is concerned.

And that is an excellent point - and a strong positive for the fact that APCs are not only not the same time of year, but not in the same location.

The feeling is _entirely_ mutual. :)
