australian_joe and bridgetester are both safely ensconced in my apartment, presumably still asleep.

Was surprised to actually be able to recognize bridgetester from pictures, although there _were_ only two people in the room when I got there.

Was less surprised (but was not certain that I would) to be able to recognize australian_joe at the airport. Oddly, though, while I recognized him visually, it was apparently not a complete recognition, based on my vaguely confused internal state when I gave him a hug. It is more disconcerting this time around to need some time to get used to his presence. And I'm not sure I am, yet.

bridgetester is highly amusing. Even when I'm exhausted. Perhaps especially when I'm exhausted, and punchy!

Attempted to share sleeping space with australian_joe last night, which may have been a poor thing to try to do, since I am - as already mentioned - not quite yet accustomed to his presence. But, as expected, I am _very_ clingy. Sheesh. And, my cat is, too. It's intensely difficult to sleep when on one side is someone you _KNOW_ you know and yet parts of you don't yet remember knowing them, and on the other side (and/or on top of me) is my extremely clingy cat. I felt rather trapped at one point, and had to have australian_joe move elsewhere. So, I'm more than a bit tired, although I did eventually manage to get some sleep. And seriously, my cat ought to know by now that I can't sleep with him on top of me. But then again, there was nowhere else for him to sleep with me. Poor cat.

It's difficult to go anywhere when the rain has turned into ice, trapping one into one's parking lot. Thankfully, some random stranger helped push my car out, or I'd not be at work right now. And the fact that it's drizzly and misty right now, when the temperature is _exactly_ freezing, will make for interesting sidewalks and roads. Wee, black ice!

Sleepy. Want there to be sunlight, ever!
