Pell grants cut. This makes me amazingly angry, it does. I _think_ I got Pell grants myself when I was in school, but I can't remember what the names of the various aid I got were.

The government will no longer require that its managers prepare an environmental impact analysis with each forest's management plan, or use numerical counts to ensure there are "viable populations" of fish and wildlife. The changes will reduce the number of required scientific reports and ask federal officials to focus on a forest's overall health, rather than the fate of individual species, when evaluating how best to protect local plants and animals. I suppose this doesn't have to have as unpleasant a result as it looks...

Have the people who call your cell hear different ring tones - this could become very annoying, very, very quickly.

The Pell grants cut is really screwed up.

And "In addition, 89,000 students or so who would otherwise be getting some Pell Grant money will get none, the analyses found."

So for many of these people, the only viable option to study at college will be to undertake military service.
