Quotes on my wall:
"Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them - every day begin the task anew." -St. Francis De Sales
"You often overlook the choicest things in life because they are so easy to obtain - the sunrise and sunset, the starry host on a clear night, the taste of fresh clean air, the sight and smell of flowers and trees, and the fresh rain on your face." -Emmet Fox
I want to see some Animaniacs, due to lunchtime conversation.
I also want bright, shiny, colorful shirts!
How often should I defragment my sex drive? - idea played with on
ratatosk's journal. I'm amused. :)
I still like maps. [not political]
Munchkin icons, as mentioned by
woodwardiocom.
I would like to steal the summer away from the people who don't like it and keep it stored in small jars for my use in the wintertime. I would even be willing to give them some of my wintertime, if that were only possible.
I will be in SF for a week in less than a month, and
australian_joe will be here in less than two months!
I need to find a different support-type volunteer job, as the one I was initially investigating seems to not be a good fit. My current goal is to try to find a GLBT youth support group I can be a moderator (or something similar) for, preferably near me (so not Boston area, much as there are bunches of them there). Investigation progressing.
I say 'I' a lot. Except when I stop using most self-referential words.
Interesting article about assumptions, and I've forgotten where I first saw it.
Meow!

Spring's good, too.
Quotes / animaniacs
Date: 2004-12-03 08:46 pm (UTC)Sanity is a one-trick pony. With sanity, you only get one trick: reasonable thinking! But, if you're good and crazy, the sky's the limit!
—The Tick
The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.
—Eden Phillpots
But we may have had this conversation before.
As for the Animaniacs, this finally got me to get off my ass and start downloading them from suprnova...

Date: 2004-12-03 10:05 pm (UTC)We may, but I do not think so. :) Unless you count the fact that you sent me your list of quotes?
Animaniacs!
(from what?)
Re: Quotes / animaniacs
Date: 2004-12-06 10:13 am (UTC)And now I have the first ten episodes of the Animaniacs, a movie (Wakko's Wish) and some of the songs. It's abut 2 Gig of stuff right now but I could burn it onto a few CDs or a DVD if you'd like...
As for suprnova, it's a place to get bit-torrents at http://www.suprnova.org/ (http://www.suprnova.org/). There are probably better places to do this but I'm not educated well enough about torrents to know them.

bit-torrents - ah, ok. Understood, now.
