For years and years and years, I've wanted to have the opportunity to swim with wild dophins (so that I knew it was something they *wanted* to do), preferably with a group that does their best to take care of the environment into which they bring people.

I think I've finally found the place I want to save up to go to. http://www.divinedolphin.com - Now, I need to save up enough to go for a reasonable amount of time. Preferably not during their high touritst season. Although going in the middle of Feburary certainly has its appeal.

Probably not for over a year from now, since I need to save up, and want to attempt to go to APCs and visit my sister in Chile in December.

And, unrelated, a book suggestion: Mutant Message Down Under, by Marlo Morgan.

I don't like that book. It's written as if the stuff in it had actually happened, but it hasn't. Most obvious problem: a white person cannot just go out and walk through Australia for months without sunscreen...
On a different level: some books do trigger a rather strong "yes, this is true" feeling (in a spiritual sense) when I read them. The early stuff of Richard Bach, for instance, or Osho, or Callenbach ("Ecotopia"), for instance. This one didn't.
