[silly, weird] Marshmallows!

Does anyone else sometimes toast marshmallows over the stove or a candle?

And do you have patience in your toasting, or do you take the tack of making them burnt to a crisp on the outside because you like watching the flaming marshmallow? (and hey, crispy on the outside and smooshy in the middle is fun, too)

The only marshmallow I will light afire in my home are those little bunny marshmallows you get around easter.

I do really really like microwave smores.. though it feels sacriligous to say so.

Oh yeah! Peeps! Ok, it's been too long since I've toasted an edible representation of a cute animal. Yes, I'm definitely thinking of peeps.

As far as the microwave smores go - I don't really remember how to make them.. I think you microwave the marshmallow between the crackers and then put the chocolate on afterwards. Not sure. Certainly worth experimenting with!

No, you can do the chocolate at the same time. You have to be careful though, or else the marshmallows get huge.

If you put toothpicks in peeps and then microwave them, they'll swordfight until they explode. Sort of sugary turkey-dance of death.
