As for sleep; I'm really glad I don't live in Boston, 'cause I'd never have gotten decent sleep.

People were noisy from about 20 of midnight to midnight (and they woke me up), but that was it.

A co-worker of mine who lives right near Kenmore square said the police were pretty strict. He estimates the crowd was 1/5 the size compared to game 7 vs. the yankees. He's got pictures of the riot police line they set up...apparently, they didn't let the party outside go for much more than 1 hour...

yeah, i was *so* glad that they stopped within a reasonable time frame. i went outside to bitch at them and found that the spot they'd been inhabiting was empty. then discovered that they'd piled into a car and were driving around madly honking and cheering.

apparently, the sox won. as i mentioned to a friend, it's time to stock up on food storage since the apocalypse is clearly here.
