Ghastly's Ghastly Comic is entirely too perversely funny, and I think [livejournal.com profile] dglenn posted a link to a strip (different than the one I have below), so I blame him for my knowing about it.

Who says there's no use for Chick Tracts?

[edit: and, while the one I posted is pretty much fine, there are some comics in here which are _not_ work safe. Just thought y'all might like to know]

Who's Coco, and what Ubergeek gal?

(that's why I'm confused, although admittedly, I didn't know what the specific type of pliers was)

Coco is the gorilla in the last panel of the cartoon. The Ubergeek gal is just an idealized notion of geeky young women that seems to pervade the communities of folks I hang around. She's not anybody in particular.

...

I have this odd belief that you are thinking of a different thing than what I actually linked to.

There's a tentacle monster in the cartoon I liked to... but there's no gorilla.

If you follow the first link, to http://www.ghastlycomic.com it takes you to a very funny cartoon with Coco the gorilla in the last panel. You have two links above, and the second one goes to the Chick Tracts and Tentacle Monster cartoon. It is also quite funny, but I was commenting on the first one.

ooooooh!

Ok. Now, I'm much less confused. Yay! (I'd not actually looked at the most recent comic, as I'm trying to read in order. Not that it appears to actually matter much)
