[touch] weekend

Duh! You know, a large part of why the weekend was so good is that I got lots of bits of affectionate touch, both in response to my initiating of such, and just because. Much good touch, and a fair amount of cuddling as well. Yay!

I can't believe I forgot to say that. :)

Yes. Getting more affectionate touch is a _good_ thing. I need to work on getting it more regularly, myself.

What happened to reduce your affectionate touch availability, if I may ask?

Oh, gosh, there are lots of factors. My primary social circle doesn't have the same "one big group" feel it used to have. It has become a lot more splintered. Changes in the way we do what we do, which have caused disagreement and division, and have made some people, like myself, feel more on the outside of the group. Changes in the place that brought us together, which used to feel like our clubhouse, but is now a busy cafe and theatre with a zillion different things going on. People moving away, changing relationships, having children, generally becoming busier with life. Certain group activities stopping. Less of a connection with a lot of the newer people, less time to maintain connections that were already there. My own difficulties with social stuff, with self-esteem, with feeling as though I'm intruding in people's lives. Lots of things. *sigh*
