I don't remember where I got this from, but it describes itself as an application that visually reflects the constantly changing landscape of the Google News news aggregator. It appears to use some sort of plugin; I'm guessing flash.

It's definitely flash. Do you like the squarified or the standard view better. I like the standard view for visualization but it does make it harder to read.

Squarified. My brain wants to be able to read things easily. :)

(Indeed, I'd not noticed that there were other options, although playing with which country and/or all countries, or which subsets of news was fun)

Yep, it is flash. I have a new install of firefox and had to grab flash for it.

Viewed from this perspective the amount of mind space occupied by the sox-yankees match up is, is, is.... staggering?, absurd? Not that I'm immune from it, I watched both games. But, really, something more substantial should be higher rated. *shakes head*
