In an oddly depressed mood. Honest compliments and not overly contrived attempts to cheer me up would not go amiss. At the moment, *hugs* feels like they would feel contrived, perhaps because they would not be real.

I know you very casually, so I cannot compliment your person in too great detail - you do come across as smart and very, VERY sexy. Random downage sucks; I am not foreign to this state of being and I find it highly frustrating because I like for things to have a reason. So it does not have a reason, so what am I to do? The way I figured it is that I am not going to bother myself with those whys and wherefores. If it came without a reason, it will go without a reason - and it does. TLC from friends and loved ones is a great help, and it strikes me that your admirers are legion. So heck, if they are admirers, make them admire and live up to their title!

I really like the way your mind works. I find you easy to understand from your writing, and one consequence of that is that I trust you. After all the time I had to process your visit, I'm even more impressed with you now than I was before I got to meet you. That's really some feat. Wow! I'm actually impressed that I managed to impress you more (what a crazy sentence). I seem to have come to the conclusion that I really didn't get much (although I do think I got some) more sense of you than I had. Which is just plain strange!
