I did just take a look at the legislation in question, here, sections 3032 and 3033. I am disgusted and appalled, and just sent mail to my Representative.

[edit edit] In very very short, the piece of legislation is trying to make it legal for people accused of terrorism to be exported to countries known to use torture.

Here is to hoping that the Republicans will think they will catch to much flack during an election year to get away with this. Or, does it actually help them seem more "tough on terrorist" to have those provisions?
