[Psinging] Oh, the withdrawal!
Sep. 9th, 2004 10:20 pmSo, it only just clicked in my head that:
1) My cat's appointment tomorrow is at 7pm.
2) He hates going to the vet for _normal_ stuff.
3) This is likely to be highly traumatic for him.
4) Roommate is not around tomorow evening.
So. I am not going to tomorrow's Psinging, and shall instead keep my kitty company after his ordeal.
I shall also not be at the next one, since there shall be a nifty NYC girl visiting.
I'm going to be going 7 weeks without Psinging! I wonder what the withdrawal symptoms are? ;)
On the nifty, and unrelated, side of things... I'll be in Seattle next weekend. I don't expect to have _huge_ amounts of time for meeting people, as I'm flying in on Friday and flying out again on Monday, but... who are the people who read me who are in that area?
[edit: next time, I take a bit more time when posting to verify that I didn't make lots of typos!]

Date: 2004-09-10 01:44 pm (UTC)Time, probably. Current thoughts, depending partly on numbers of people with interest, is attempting a food-related getting together at some point.
Psinging is a (mostly folk) group singing thing with no strong attachment to people's ability. Far more interest in their interest and enjoyment of such.

Date: 2004-09-10 03:45 pm (UTC)Psinging sounds neat. When I took a class in FiveRhythms movement this summer, the teacher and I ended up doing a lot of improvised chanting/singing together. I really enjoyed doing that with someone who enjoyed it the same way I did.

Date: 2004-09-10 06:22 pm (UTC)Will do. :) May be useful to exchange contact info, depending on how well things manage to get scheduled ahead of time (I'm getting less absent-minded as I recover from insane work, but I'm not willing to trust things again yet).
mprovised chanting/singing together.
Ooooh. Tasty... :)
