wispfox: (kitty)

It's uncomfortable to be at work when I'm worried about my cat. Especially when I know no one will be around today.

But he wasn't seeming to be having any problems, and there were no normal appointments open today. If he's still doing the frequent little tiny bits of urine when I get home, I'll try for an appintment tomorrow (or emergency if that is still not an option). If he's not urinated at _all_ when I get home, emergency it is.

My poor kitty...

if you can (with work schedule) get him in today, let them know he may be "blocked" and he is straining to urinate.
Most clinics know this *could be* a serious thing (even if it is just an infection, they *should* bring him in on the off chance...usually extended labor, straining male cats, bird gasping, seizures and eye problems are brought in ASAP due to *possibly* emergency situations)...and most E. clinics will soak you for it just for the exam (here they charge about $100.00 to walk through the door) :(

Argh...I wish you were around here...would take him to Doc myself, if I could and you were OK with it... she is wonderful with these things, almost like a miracle worker...

Much sympathy! Poor cat, sounds like cystitis for sure. My old cat Saki was prone to it, and just missed having to lose his male plumbing.
