if you can (with work schedule) get him in today, let them know he may be "blocked" and he is straining to urinate. Most clinics know this *could be* a serious thing (even if it is just an infection, they *should* bring him in on the off chance...usually extended labor, straining male cats, bird gasping, seizures and eye problems are brought in ASAP due to *possibly* emergency situations)...and most E. clinics will soak you for it just for the exam (here they charge about $100.00 to walk through the door) :(
Argh...I wish you were around here...would take him to Doc myself, if I could and you were OK with it... she is wonderful with these things, almost like a miracle worker...
