What is the difference, if any, between an RV and a camper?

IME, a camper is something you haul behind a truck, while an RV is something you just drive.

My answer is pretty similar to Volta's. An RV has a motor and such while a camper has to be pulled by something. I've also heard of campers as generally being smaller. An Airstream or similar is probably still an RV even though it's towed.

An RV is a drivabe vehicle, a camper is a tow-behind thingy.

A camper is one of the people who use the RV? ;)
