I know the problem with dates. I have a similar issue with time. One person quipped a while back that I can tell you exactly what time it is, I just have about a 24 hour margin of error. One advantage of the meds is that it will frequently tell me the time if it's near time for me to take them...
/me boggles at the concept of someone not stopping immediately if asked. I want to make a satirical concept about it but I just can't wrap my mind around it...
Writing down is important for me too. I tell people that if it's not in e-mail, then the statement doesn't exist. I just don't retain auditory information...
