The thought in question was, in fact, not real. Sometimes I have entirely too realistic dreams!

I was a bit confused as to what went on there and such but I couldn't leave a question on the nature of reality alone.

So, considering the substance involved in creating a thought, what makes a thought real or not?

'reality' in this case was determined by the fact that I wasn't sure if I was about to refer to dream happenings or things that actually happened. It turned out to be the former.
