Jul. 16th, 2004 05:24 pmSo, if anyone's wondering, the entertaining 'who are these people on my friends list' question thingy happened to cause me to notice (as I do every so often) who it is that I apparently read regularly and know nothing about, and then whose entries I tend to skim, at best.
The result of this is that I dropped a few people from my friends list. I figure that the fact that most of my posts are public should make this less irritating than it might otherwise be, and ought to help reduce my excessively large reading list. I may snip again later, because right now, the amount of time I would have to take in order to keep up on my friends list regularly (I don't necessarily bother to try) is simply insane. (Yes, I realize that there are filters for reading. I decided that, for the most part, I really don't like them. If I have people on my friends list, I want to be reading them, dammit! And if they are not in my default reading list, they get read just as little as anyone not on my friends list - infrequently, and when I happen to think of it)
