Decided the Shel Silverstein poem stuck to the wall of my cubicle is highly appropriate. So here it is:


Hug O' War

I will not play at tug o' war
I'd rather play at hug o' war
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.


Yeah. I don't like war. Even if there seem to be good reasons behind it, I don't like it.

And this one seems to have any possible reasoning so thoroughly obfuscated that I'm not sure *anyone* knows why it's happening, really. Not that I'm exactly an expert on politics or world relations.

*sigh*

Must go home and take full advantage of having a friend as a temporary roommate as of today. Much hugging will happen. I decree it!
