/me develops great hatred for testing of kerberos, as it kinda requires me to have a vague understanding of it, so I can create and test a server.

This reminds me an awful lot of...making fiends. Is it the same artist?

~grins~ Kerb is easy. Every morning, I click on "Authentic Login", type in my password and get a ticket! See how easy that is!

See, _that_ part is easy. That part, I already tested. :)

(http://web.mit.edu/kerberos/www/) is probably not what you need, but worth reading when you have the leisure.

lol, my boss trashed our entire users/groups/permissions settings when he tried to screw with Kerberos. Good times.

I know you need to throw it a drugged sop, but I can't find the recipe on the internet. :(

I'm not sure. It's what Odysseus threw to Kerberos to knock him out and sneak into the underworld.

/me checks dictionary.com
"1. Anything steeped, or dipped and softened, in any liquid; especially, something dipped in broth or liquid food, and intended to be eaten."
Is one of the defs, and the one which seemed most likely.
In other words, _no one_ knows specifically what the sop in question was. :)
(and I don't think it'd help against a program anyway. ;)
