PC hardware, gaming system?
Feb. 19th, 2010 07:03 pmAs my mac is driving me nuts for playing WoW, school is likely to have software that only runs on Windows, and desktops are _way_ less expensive than laptops (and PCs similarly so than macs), I'm hunting a desktop computer. This is for WoW, plus whatever bits and pieces school needs that doesn't run on mac. I'm looking to spend less than $1000, and get as much current and future wow playing ability as I can.
I'm currently looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227174R
Does anyone who knows windows hardware want to take a look at that link and help me determine if it is as good a machine as I think it is? Or tell me that I'm insane to get that? :)
Thanks!
*dreaming of a machine that doesn't overheat _all the damn time_ and make for sad video graphics flickers and random lockups*
edit: forgot to mention that i do not want to put a machine together myself. Been there, done that, not too fond.
