_Busy_, but good, weekend. Damn, that was a social weekend, mostly involving people who can't make a small gathering I'm having late next month. Also a weekend for staying up late (if I go to bed at 11:30 or later, I get to sleep after midnight, and sleep less well than I do if I get to sleep before then), so I didn't do a very good job of catching up on sleep. Tonight, no plans, so I keep my cat company, and hopefully get to bed earlier.

australian_joe arrives Thursday night!

P-town is nifty, but we spent too little time there and I got very tired due to insufficient time to just chill out (also due to not getting enough sleep all weekend).

First we get the sour grapes person who was complaining about me filtering as much as I do, especially since I use the percentage matching (and they only match at 24%/41%, match/friend), then says something about 'not trying to tell me what I should do', how perhaps they should be pickier, and about how I must have trouble finding people who are 'perfect'. (Right. Because 'perfect' as a word used to describe humans doesn't tend to make me want to run screaming in the other direction. Not at all.)

Then the half ounce person whose entire message text is what I asked about above.

People must be especially bored, today.

UHF, which I finally got around to seeing (mostly because it was for sale for really cheap at the nearby thrift store, and I figured I might as well buy it) is very, very silly. And random. And kept reminding me of people. And reminds me of Elephant Parts, except it has a plot and I don't think Elephant Parts did.

I should sleep, but I'm not sure that I'm sleepy enough yet. We shall see, I guess!

But first, I wait for my room to get cooler. Perhaps, I shower while I wait.

I have such strange ideas when falling asleep.

I really, really want chrome (or some other metallic color) hair dye. Or iridescent hair dye. Or mother of pearl or opal or moonstone!

(Of course, even if these existed, they'd likely have the same pain-in-the-butt problem as the purple dye I have, including the staining everything insight problem and the having to paint it on problem. But. Want!)

Nail polish would probably be both easier and more likely. :)
