Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day is gorgeous.

I don't remember where I saw this, but a woman was refused a divorce because she's pregnant by a man who is not her husband. *grumble*

Woo! Now I have a freefind search tool for my journal (on my info page), thanks to pointers by [livejournal.com profile] rosefox and [livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha.

Niftiness. Now I can find things if I forgot to memory them! :) (well, at least if they were posted publicly)

Oh, look, it's finally sunk in that I'm seeing Joe tonight.

*vibrating with impatience*

So, co-workers have joked that I need a wearable light bank so as to avoid the evils of winter. Much as that amuses me, it'd make it difficult to see outside of it, if the only thing with much light is me.

_I_ think that someone needs to set up a _huge_ array of mirrors which can be used to reflect light to me, even if the area near me (indeed, even if the entire New England area) is gray and cloudy or foggy. Because, dude! Tricks with mirrors! And light!

Ehem.

If I'm thinking of unrealistic goals, I might as well mention that I want the ability to bottle up sunlight and take it from people who don't appreciate it. And heat! I want to steal the heat (but not the humidity - humidity makes it difficult for me to sleep or breathe or be even vaguely comfortable unless (sometimes even if!) I'm completely without clothing) from people who prefer it to be cool.

I continue to be amused by the fact that my cat's first reaction to me turning on my green light box at home is to go sit on the couch next to where I would have to be sitting in order to use it. He _knows_, you see. And it has, indeed, improved my social energy. Yes. No longer am I randomly wanting to growl at my co-workers. ;)
