Really lovely portfolios on a website of mural-painting people. I'm so impressed and delighted. And I suddenly wish I had a house to have somewhere to put murals.

You do know that Vicka (lyonesse here) has murals up three flights of stairs in her house, painted by this artist? (Said artist being her old friend Mimi.) That she lives in Somerville and that massage parties regularly occur there? Just sayin'.

Yup! I did know this; this is actually why I even know of the artist. Saw them when I went to the most recent massage party, and was way impressed. :)

Ah! I was, as usual, chicken-mit-Kopf-offgecutten, running about and hostessing. So if you introduced yourself, I totally spaced. I don't think I know who you are, in person, nor that you'd be coming, as I think of you as Xtina's friend and she wasn't there until the very very end.

Yes, I'd love a mural by Mimi too. Given that we're, um, years behind Vicka in terms of renovating our house, and that I'll never have the earning power that Vicka does, I figure it's unlikely that I'll ever get one...but hey! Pretty!

You may recall me from your housewarming, as someone who didn't actually know anyone there previous to going. Or, rather, didn't expect to know anyone there - there were a few people I recognized, but none that I knew all that well.

I actually had read about the massage parties repeatedly previous to actually managing to *go*, as I'm on both suspects and poly-boston (I don't recall which one gets the massage party notices). And, I ended up wandering over to the party along with water_childe, rosif3r, and a few other people who do not to my knowledge have an LJ account.

I saw you maybe twice during the massage party, so I'm unsurprised you don't remember seeing me there. I spent most of the evening in a single room, as well, which can't have helped with that!

To my joy and happiness, apparently Mimi does smaller things, as well - but I do not yet have any idea of the general price range of her non-mural stuff.
