IRC is where I met my second girlfriend, in 1991 (we didn't meet in person, and start dating, until about five months later, in 1992).

Eh, just someone giving out lots of info on free personal ad equivalents.

The idea of IRC as a personal ad amused me, but the idea of using IRC *intentionally* as a method to pick up chicks amused me more.
