Yes, there might be more snow coming.

Because February this year apparently needs _all_ the snow. Are we over our wintertime total snow record yet?

Plus side, it might not affect classes next week.

Minus side, as far as I can tell, no one knows when the MBTA rail services will be back.

Exercise is good. Not enough social time outside the house, less so.

Not record-breaking for the season total, yet, but we've crushed the 14, 20, and 30-day records. Here is a graph someone shared with me of snowfall this year graphed against the record setting 1995-1996 season:

The real problem this year vs most is the lack of melt. Usually we get a storm, then there will be a warm day or two and some will melt before the next storm hits. This year, with back-to-back-to-back big storms, and no melt between them, finding places to put the snow when clearing roads and sidewalks has been a real challenge.

With more snow in the near forecast, I think there is still a chance of breaking the season record this year, though I really hope we do not.

Wow. That's an impressive graph!

And yes, I also hope we do not break the record, but fear that we will. Especially given this coming weekend's prediction.
