It fits my sense based on several (admittedly non-mainstream :-}) subcultures I'm a member in. Which means that my primary reaction to the article (not just the title) is a sigh and a wince at what it says about our larger culture, and a hope that whatever movement we've made away from male-scripts and female-scripts can keep going.
