Evidently because today is my birthday, I don't see whatever google has for its birthday, only a birthday wish for me.

Do you have directions for NOT seeing it? Animations are distracting when I'm trying to think of a good search string.

It came up when I hit New Tab in Chrome. A workaround was to change the default search engine to Bing.
