I was going to make sure that all my snail mail contact information was in my new phone today, since I was pretty sure it was not. Unfortunately, my old phone decides to have died a final death.

Going forward, I'm putting such things in google contacts, since apparently transferring contact information from a sim card is hard if your new phone doesn't use them.

So! If you believe that I should have your snail mail address, please send it to me! If for some strange reason you don't have my email address, let me know. :) (don't use the wispfox@livejournal.com, as it has never seemed to work)

does your new phone not use sim cards at all? o.O how does that work?

A little confused by the question, but I'll take a stab at it!

The contacts live on the phone memory itself.

The phone is in my name using the serial number.

I don't recall what else lives on the sim?

Some carriers don't use SIM cards--notably Sprint, which is the network (if not the carrier) in question. I assume there's an identity chip somewhere in the phone itself...
