Me being very, very, *very* delayed, it's taken until now for me to get around to pics from the Cali trip.

First, some pics taken from the plane. I have no idea, at this point, if these were on the way there, or on the way back.

Clouds...

Mountains, snow...

There's something very strange about the grid-pattern of the ground, here...

The sun looks _neat_!

Tall bikes! [livejournal.com profile] msdenisewight in the first pic, her sweetie whose name I have forgotten in the second and third.

Now, some pics of stuff on the way from Sacramento to SF, or possibly on the way back!

It's so _greeeeeen_!

And what's with the buildings built into the sides of hills?

Random amusement park...

Coffee... tree...? (restaurant, _not_ place that sells coffee?!)

Me, exhausted on the way home.

Finally, some pics of what Massachusetts decided to welcome me home with! (This is of the exit which I use to get to work. We do an awful lot of waiting, so I had time to snap some pics. I'm impressed that you can _see_ the snow falling in some of these!)

We used to stop at the Coffee Tree when we were going from our house (in San Jose) to my aunt and uncle's house in Sacramento.

oh, the memories...

Wow, tall bikes! I want.

The grid patterned ground is really entrancing, too.

Totally off-topic.

Ah well. ^^ Try thinking of William Blake instead.

You're not the only one. :) It's part of why I have trouble remembering her username!

I love the pics of the mountains from the plane.
The few times I flew cross country, that was always
what I enjoyed to watch. I never did take any
pictures, though... so explaining it to friends
was not easy ...

thanks for sharing =-]

Based strictly on sun angle, my assumption would be those pics were taken on the way westward.

Quite probably. It's entirely possible that I was just too tired on the way back east to even consider picture-taking.

I love the photos of the clouds from the airplane. It looks so soft and cozy.. nice comfy blanket! And the images of the land in grids is quite fascinating. It looks like computer parts. Thanks for sharing your pictures!
