Mar. 12th, 2004 08:03 pmSo, I've had a song stuck in my head _all day_. And it amuses me greatly. So, I share a link to the lyrics:
stupid american, Eddie From Ohio, _Looking Out The Fishbowl.
Mmm. My last post? That's what I associate with the inside of my head, when I am in a balanced state. It's a _damn_ good indication of the fact that winter is, at least as far as the light issues I have, finally over. In summer, I'm not quite balanced, either - but I'm on the upbeat, cheery side of things. I suspect that right now, and 6 months from now, are my most balanced and most sane times.
I'm also startlingly amused by "maylee, i had a dream", for which I cannot find lyrics. So...
You bought me a kitty cat, it made me cry
I've always been allergic to kitty cats
(and I think you knew that)
Maylee, I had a dream the other night
I can't forget the awful sight
of your head stuck in the freezer
Maylee, I couldn't tell if you were experimenting
with poor-man's cyrogenics
or looking for the orange sherbet
[Chorus]
So Maylee if you want out just say you want out and I'll be on my way
Maylee, I had a dream the other night
In your hand was a knife, a very sharp knife
You said you'd cut your heart out
Maylee, there you stood with your heart in
your hand, you said "here is my heart"
"You wanted it so bad, now here take it"
Chorus
Lately I've overheard you complaining on the phone
to your mother
And the only reason I mention it now is the book
on your night table
"There Must Be Fifty Ways to Kill Your Lover"
Maylee, I had a dream the other night
I can't forget the awful sight
of the bookcase toppling down on me
Maylee, the bookcase missed my head,
now I'm just really well-read
I was stuck under there for hours
Chorus
You bought me a kitty cat, and that's just fine
My dog enjoys chewing on your kitty cat (good dog)
