wispfox: (sleepy)

Well, whatever I have appears to not be _nearly_ as nasty as whatever other people have (as per normal - I rarely get truly nasty illnesses), but it, when combined with insufficient sleep, has kept me home from work. Mostly due to an amazing inability to stay both conscious and alert for long periods of time. It's... odd having dreams forcably invade my waking state. Me wonders if this is what hallucinating is like.

So, I'll only vaguely be online today.

Having experienced quite a bit of sleep-dep as well as other states, I have to say that there are different types of hallucinations. The ones from sleep-dep seem to be phantom people and objects. Specifically, I'd be driving and I'd see/hear/feel a truck passing me. But there wasn't a truck in front or behind me. I'd be working on code and I'd see someone out of the corner of my eye when I know no one is there...

I hope you feel better. *Hug*
