In my time between work and getting food and going down to my sister's in RI, I am browsing people's memories, again.
Today, I point at something written by
tylik, and I quote the paragraph which spoke to me the most in the link:
Honor rests in how you choose to act. Not how you are forced to act, or pressured into acting, but how you choose. The freer the choice is, the fewer consequencing that might result from self serving behavior, the greater the scope (and the need!) for honorable action. Because of this, honor (or its lack) can often be witnessed in the behavior of the strong towards the weak.
