My apartment is _far_ too empty of people right now. Meh. Much moping, here.
But
ayalanya, tomorrow. And for much of the rest of the week. Then I go to NYC, and she moves out.
Unrelatedly, does anyone local to the Boston area have a blacklight that I can borrow? I wish to make sure that there are no traces of the previous tenants' misbehaving animals for my cat to decide are threats to his territory and thus need to be peed upon. I suspect part of the strong scent of the place right now is chemical, although not all.
I will also need many, many fans. Big ones, to move air between rooms, as well as in and out windows. My _god_, that apartment gets hot... also, air conditioners. I have one. I will probably want at the very least one for each bedroom, once the 'gah! low on funds!' thing stops being such a problem.
Wall of heat when I walk up the stairs into the apartment isn't so nice. Probably, the fact that there is a skylight in the stairwell has something to do with that. Skylight, pretty, and probably good in winter. Not so much now, though!
Must shower! Icky sweaty.
It's amusing noticing myself wanting to stop by the apartment every time I drive by the appropriate exit. And, as long as I keep filling my car with boxes (or small furniture), I will have _reason_!
Yep. Mopey.
