All you people with muses - go read this post by cadhla, seen on quinnclub's journal, who apparently got it from ladytabitha pointing him to it.

Yeah. I haven't yet decided if I have one. If I do, having some idea of *what* to do with the random, directionless inspiration I get would be helpful. Damn creativity with no outlet!

My muse bites me on the shoulder, steals all the covers, makes a mess of the floor around the bed, criticizes my kitchen, and changes subjects like crazy -- well, like crazy-making.

On the plus side, she makes impromptu waffles, snuggles her butt against me on cold nights, fixes chairs, intoxicates me with her smell, creates beautiful stained glass, and bites me on the shoulder.

She also believes in my talent implicitly, setting it free to flutter and soar, her name on its lips with every breath.

I think I'm pretty lucky to have her.
