Feb. 5th, 2004 11:21 amLost in Translation was seen by me last night (along with a bunch of other people).
It's charming. And sweet. And painful. And really good at making one *feel* how it is to be lonely.
Not something I really needed help remembering. Leaving the group and going home was interesting.
Not a movie I plan to own, even though it was good enough to almost make me cry. Too painful, and I'm not going to watch it ever again.

Date: 2004-02-16 04:16 pm (UTC)Quite. :) Also, I really prefer my schedule when not at work to be more... flexible. Having lots of weekly things rather defeats that goal.
"weekend one shots" [...] probably be organizing one late in the spring
This sounds more promising! Although, it needs to be when I'm around.
I'm definitely gone April 24-27th (company meeting), May 1st-4th (visiting
Any idea when?
Re:
Date: 2004-02-19 06:56 pm (UTC)Based off of your restrictions above... it sounds like the weekend of April 10-11 and the weekend of April 17-18 would be free for you. Is that correct? Let me know, and I'll do an e-mail around to my other waiting-in-the-wings folks and see whom I can summon.

Date: 2004-02-19 07:18 pm (UTC)Tentatively, yes.
I realized I forgot to ask how late it would go on Sunday. It matters not only because of work on Mondays, but also because I periodically have energy work group on Sunday nights, including April 11th. It starts at 7pm-ish, in Bolton.
