[me, random]
Nov. 22nd, 2004 05:41 pmOther people have interesting descriptions of me, all of which I will be forced to paraphrase because my ability to remember things word-for-word is nonexistant.
I am a being which causes people near me to be much sillier. The number of times I have been blamed for the silliness of people around me is astounding! "I'm not this silly when _she's_ not around!" (hey, look! A good example of when it _is_ ok to be pointing and laughing at the same time!) Silliness magnification!
I have a 'talk to me about things you don't normally talk to anyone about!' vibe. The most frequent application of this tend to revolve around sex/sexuality and energy work/esp/etc type stuff. I don't mind, certainly, and I suspect the fact that I am _INSANELY CURIOUS_, especially about how people's minds work, magnifies this effect. So, apparently, does the fact that I'm fairly difficult to cause TMI reactions in (squick? Those aren't quite the same... huh! I wonder if squick needs to be on my list of words I use...) or startle (at least about things in other people's lives).
I am calming. Not entirely sure how this and the silliness magnification manage to coexist, but whatever.
I am someone who must be taken entirely on my own merits. This apparently relates to the fact that I don't use myself as a baseline for 'normal' because I tend to expect that other people will _not_ be similar to me in lots of ways.
Mmm... can't think of any more right now. But I am amused.
