Speaking of a movie I want to own,

amalthea
Lady Amalthea

You are most like the Lady Amalthea. Beautiful,
mysterious, and different from all the rest.
People can't help being drawn to you. You have
a strong desire to help and heal, and it hurts
you gravely when you aren't able to. You might
feel like you don't belong and that you are
very much trapped in your own skin, and because
of this you can very emotional, depressed, and
reserved. Be careful not to brood and always
focus on your own problems, you might easily
end up overlooking the pain of those closest to
you. You have friends and loved ones that are
more than willing to do anything for you, do
not readily lose sight of that. You could
appear cold and aloof to outsiders, but you do
care and you do love, just more quietly than
others. You are a unique and beautiful
creature; outside as well as within.

Hi there!

If I had time to write a book about, the way you act and look; I haven't got a paragraph. The words are always getting in the way. Anyway, I love you. That's all I have to tell you. That's all I have to say...."

That's all I really remember off the top of me head. Let me tell you, I used to ADORE that movie. :)

I still *do* adore that movie, even though it's entirely in my memory.

At my previous job (and possibly at home, not sure) I had that song in my mp3 collection. :)

And now, I have a drunk skeleton wandering around in my head...

I unsurprisingly got 'Prince Lir'. There was a time in the past where the description under Schmendrick would've been more correct. I've gotten better though.

And it's deprecate, dammit!

Did you know that The Last Unicorn is coming out on DVD on March 16th? In attempting to verify this, I found [livejournal.com profile] lastunicorn. We'll be getting the movie as soon as it comes out.

Apparently, yes! :)

What is causing your 'deprecate' rant? I think I missed it...

Also, yes, I knew about the DVD - [livejournal.com profile] shadesong posted about it at some point. That would be a want!

In the second sentence of the description of Shmendrick, they say "A wonderful and bold person, though you lean towards to self-depreciation." That should be self-deprecating. Silly people, using words when they don't know what they mean.

Ah... ok. Less confused now. I hadn't actually *seen* the word use. :)
