Date: 2007-01-26 09:44 am (UTC)I know you because you have written enough for me to see who you are, and you could perhaps know me because I have written enough that you could have read, but we have never known each other together.
I wonder what the name for that is. It's some new 21st century thing that couldn't have existed before.

Date: 2007-01-26 03:23 pm (UTC)What?
This post was about my forwarding address from my college being dumb and not always working.
Not sure what theme you're seeing (except possibly that I post very little because of my wrists?).
We _have_ actually met, for what that's worth. And I do feel like I have some sense of you, although it's certainly true that I do not derive sufficient amounts of sense of people from purely online contact.
Anyway. Confused. :)
(also? I've known that I can't live in New England my whole life for as long as I've had seasonal depression, so not sure how that's new?)

*ponders what to say*
I seem to be having that reaction a lot lately. I should pay attention to it.
Anyway. Post wasn't about the your flakey email, but about all the things you mention.
I think the story I'm posting about is: "Stranger with one life intersects slightly with another stranger and another life. Things change, and {?the future happens}"
I know we have met, but the bulk of our contact has been in LJ like this. The only times I've mailed you if I recall have been when I had something happy and positive to say in response to a time when you were happy and positive and I thought "why don't I save this post till the middle of winter when you're down." Six months later I have forgotten the original thought, so i say something else.

Date: 2007-01-26 05:26 pm (UTC)Also, the fact that you were mailing me with random happy/positive things in mid-winter is both something I hadn't actively noticed (I'm like that sometimes!), and am thoroughly charmed by. :)
Charmed!
True, though, that most of our contact has been via LJ. Still vaguely confused, but I suspect that may be a side-effect of my difficulty getting strong sense of people via online interaction.

The blink one. I'll say something that makes perfect sense if you know what I'm referring to, but I leave out important bits.
