When I'm tired, 72.2%. When I'm well rested, 83.3%. There's a _huge_ short term memory component, at least for me!

Test your musical skills in 6 minutes - requires flash 8 or 9, sound, and not being easily annoyed by midi.

Neat, though!

Interestingly enough, it claims to test whether or not one is tone-deaf, not one's memory. :)

But yes, muchly fun!

Also? It claims now that you _can_ check which ones you got wrong. :)

That's *bizarre*. Maybe just because I'm so very not tone deaf that it was definitely testing my memory. :)

i found that test annoying because of my inability to absorb or retain audio input - and apparently it's even worse when it's a little song snippet i don't have time to go over. i scored around 66%, which *might* actually be true, but it seems unlikely.

I suspect that they were intentionally straining people's memory. As I recall from similar classes at uni, this is helpful because lowering your overall success amplifies the *differences* in your performance, highlighting the areas that are difficult for you to process.

That said, I know I wished I could review the snippets more, when I was taking the test.

Yeah, the short term memory component of that was annoying. I, also, tend to be somewhat poor at retaining random musical snippets. :)
