Because it means that I'm less likely to get accustomed to the weird behavior of things which will confuse customers or people new to the software, and I will complain when docs are too confusing for me (and therefore probably for customers). Things like that.
Same way my need to write things down to remember them is useful to write test plans; not intentional, but still really helpful.
