Very strange day, foodwise. Good food, mind. But strange.

Breakfast: Tiramisu
Lunch-ish: toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon (I did not realize that this was also known as lox! The things I learn from [livejournal.com profile] regyt) and lemon juice. Also, yummy green tea.
Dinner-ish: a very dense chocolate mousse with whipped cream

I point out, notingly, that every single meal - for some value of meal - included caffeine. I suspect that the chocolate mousse was perhaps not terribly wise of me, for even though I was sleepy (and not just overstim'd from people) earlier, driving home had no alertness troubles. And the only healthy meal was lunch. I'm glad I had a healthy lunch! Sheesh! (gotta wonder how my stomach is going to cope with the pretense at dinner, since it's really quite confused right now)

I also played with both a world atlas and a dictionary today. Maps _and_ words! *glee*

There were two books lent to me. First was "Johnny The Homicidal Maniac", lent to me by [livejournal.com profile] veebl and/or [livejournal.com profile] kernelslacker (I'm really not actually sure which of them actually did the lending, oddly. I _think_ it was [livejournal.com profile] veebl, whose name I keep wanting to add an 'e' to the end of). Second was "The Golden Key", lent by [livejournal.com profile] regyt. Mmm. Tasty wildly different books. Did I mention glee?

I got good amounts of cuddle-touch from [livejournal.com profile] regyt, to the point where, when I got into my car to go home, and put on my seatbelt, it took me a minute to realize that the something which was missing on the right side of my body was, in fact, a cuddly [livejournal.com profile] regyt. My brain is so strange.

I was reminded of just how difficult it can be for me to switch between 'co-worker mode' and 'friend mode' sometimes, as I don't give hugs to people while I am at work, and if I have not gotten into a useful non-work mode, it's difficult to get out of that mindset. Which is weird when interacting with people who are so very strongly my kind of people!

It is strange to have as a reaction to me meowing, the comment 'you are not a cat!'. Mostly because I don't see how that matters, really. Confuses my head to get that reaction, it does. It's not just cats who have conversations in meows! Just listen to me talking to [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe or [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya sometimes! ;) "What part of 'meow' don't you understand?"

I dislike sleep which entails dreams involving being very tired, I note. It's like my brain isn't entirely sure that I get that I'm tired, or something. Yes. Tired. Thank you, now shut up!

Now, I am over-people'd and yet full of glee. There is an [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya, much to my surprise! And I am tired. But using my happy green light. There was much sun today, but there is likely snow for the next couple of days. Tired of snow, and of winter, but at least the light levels are becoming noticeably more useful for me.

I had a very, very, very giggly day, especially as evening came on, where I kept alternating between extreme giggles and spontaneous desire to sleep right where I was. And my sentence structure was actually worse than it is right now. And I had far fewer words available. Bad words! No biscuit! Or cookie! Or something.

(I wonder if I'm going to start forgetting which words to use with which people? I know I tend to adjust my speech patterns and parser depending on who I'm talking to, so I wonder how far the auto-adjust goes, as far as my speech patterns and word use? Wee! I collect words!)

[livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha visited yesterday, and dropped off some books. But she left with more books than she dropped off, as well as some buttons. TAKE MY STUFF! ;) (incidentally, I should go look at that poll, to see if I ought to just hold stuff for certain people, or actually attempt to have a 'take my stuff' party. :)

I have great difficulty with using Macs, I have determined. WHERE'S THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON?! And why do I have to do something other than just highlighting stuff to copy it?! (Windows has that annoyance, too, mind) Gah! It's apparently been too long since I was in school and using Mac, Windows, Linux, and various UNIXes regularly.

Done now. Yep.

This post reminds me a bit of a Dr. Bronner's Soap label (http://www.drbronner.com/labels/pepmt.pdf). It's good to see you so happy.

JTHM is a most excellent choice. :)

Cuddling with you is a huge goodness!

(And for the sake of being a social hub, I inform you that [livejournal.com profile] novalis is the fellow whose place we were at.)

Social hub info: noted! I won't remember, and a brief glance at journal was insufficient to cause me to friend. :) But I might recognize later based on long, purple hair!

Cuddling: Yes. Weeee!

Yes. I knew this! I have Squee, somewhere.

I just hadn't read JTHM yet. :)

*blink* That's a fascinating thing to remind you of. :)

happy: Yes. The season is starting to go back to being less evil! Next thing you know, I'll get to stop taking SAM-e for 6 months. ;)

Yay food! and cuddling! and, um, stuff. Mrow?

I have great difficulty with using Macs, I have determined. WHERE'S THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON?!

Buy a 2-button USB mouse. Plug it in.
In the meantime, control-clicking brings up a contextual menu. Clicking and holding does sometimes to.

Yeah, the owner of the computer was able to tell me the control-clicking thing.

But that's not what I expect to be doing, so it's jarring every single time. :)

MEOW!

Oh, well, jarring is hard to overcome. I just wanted to make sure you knew the method. :)
