[meta] account expiring; do I care?

So... my paid LJ account expires in 10 days.

I can't decide if I care, though. I mean, I'll still have a free account...

And it's been so _slow_ lately. But I guess that, considering how much I use it, I should really be helping them out by paying for it.

Yeah. I should do that, but not right now. Lazy, me!

(a) polls.

(b) as much as the site speed sucks for paid users (and, frankly, i don't think it's so bad), it sucks MUCH MUCH HARDER for free users. there's a news posting that explains why, but basically, paid users get to cut in front of free users in the HTTP request queue.

(d) post-by-phone, post-by-email, access to /friendsfriends/, create new RSS syndications, and a couple of other things that aren't very important to me.

*shrug* you decide if SUM(a..d) >= $25/yr.

Yep. I did, in fact renew the subscription, for more than one of the reasons given.

Had already decided _in_ the post that I was going to renew, however, :) Which was perhaps not clear.
