Four Corners Monument is indeed closed for construction

Did not go to the tour I missed at Mesa Verde, due to thunderstorms. Stone steps and ladders are slippery when wet, even if the ruins themselves tend to stay dry.

Went to Four Corners, spent some time there, had call with metahacker in the car because the wind was insane, spent more time there, got hailed and rained on. Headed for Canyon de Chelly.

Have room here, will do 1/2 day tour tomorrow morning at 9, since the full-day one had no one else signed up and they need at least 6 people on it.

I appear to be less chatty of late! Perhaps for sleepy. Bed was way comfy, but there was loud & unhappy woman outside yelling at what I presume was her boyfriend both last night at around 6 this morning. Also, t-storms are loud. Even though earplugs.

Tomorrow marks my 4 week point since I arrived in Colorado and started my trek!

Also, I need better ziplocks

These generic ones are hard to close and not watertight (are any?). Soggy cheese is gross. Seriously.
