migraines!

Ok, I can mostly tolerate waking up Monday and Tuesday mornings with my weird sinus-related version of a migraine, because I can just take a migraine med even though it has caffeine.

But having a migraine decide to come upon me, with aura (sparkly bits in my vision, yay!), while on a conference call is a bit rude. They aren't completely disabling, but they do certainly fuck with my proprioception and add a clear, although slight, processing delay in _everything_. Also, I appear to lose all attention span, which is irritating for both work and personal reasons (I have a bunch of things to keep track of and sort through and poke at in both arenas) because I can't remember all of what I need to do, nor stick with things without forgetting what I'm doing (and this is _without_ my regular wrist break). Also, headache and light and sound sensitivity. And exhaustion (presumably from trying to do things through the processing delay).

Mostly, though, it's really very odd to notice delays in processing input, and to notice that my balance is _gone_ if I blink more than briefly. And watch my communication skills go to hell.

Bloody weird migraines. No idea why I'm getting them, either.
