Oct. 3rd, 2007 01:26 pmIt is _very difficult_ to type with a purry kitty on one's lap, demanding attention _RIGHT NOW_.
This, while entertaining (linked by
wcg), combines _really strangely_ with having recently started reading I'm OK, You're OK. My brain hurts a bit.
Finally getting my damn tubes tied on Friday (yes, in two days). Only taken me _years_ to get someone to agree to do it! (and, indeed, as suspected, I needed to be 30. And they _still_ argued) And I get to keep the Mirena and continue to not have periods! So my weekend ought to be interesting. (for that matter, so ought to be the month between the surgery and the checkup)
Not going to the IG Nobels tomorrow night; thought that having any hope of getting enough sleep (since I have to stop all non-persc meds at 3:30 tomorrow) was really very important, pre-surgery. But meh!
Sleep dep, even when one is accustomed to a certain level of such, is dangerous. Right. I knew that!
