Power outage after three hours of three different meetings made for an interesting end of day yesterday at work.

Managed to get to sleep at a reasonable and possibly early time last night; tried locking my cat out of my room, but he meowed really loudly and repeatedly outside my door at 5am. Still reasonably alert today, though, but really can't use the 'lock him out all night' option, as the reason he tends to meow is loneliness.

australian_joe is going to be back again briefly, and oddly soon, at end of August. My brain is confused (but pleased).
