It's fascinating to look at angry and shocked, among others.

I have an awful lot of friends moving in the coming weekend (one household each Sat, Sun, and Mon). Unfortunately, having _just_ finished moving, myself, I don't have the energy to help any of them... (or, for that matter, _time_ to help any of them!)

On the plus side, whatever rodent is/was in my wall was _quiet_ last night and this morning. Possibly not there anymore, I can't tell.

And my cat meowed at me _after_ I was already awake and about to get up to go to the bathroom. (still woke up more than I would have had he not meowed, but that's tolerable, where being awakened by his meowing is not)

So, not so ridiculously tired, today. Thankfully. Yesterday was rough!

So, Ash does appear to be adjusting, at least to some degree, to the lack of a couch.

This morning, when I sat down to eat my breakfast, he took very little time to jump up into my lap and figure out how to curl himself so that he wouldn't fall off, purring loudly the entire time.

It is, I note, very difficult to go to work when there is a warm, loudly purring kitty in one's lap. I did, of course, pet him lots and leave a few minutes later than I'd intended.

It's funny to see a cat who was adamantly _not_ a lap cat turning into one, due to lack of couch. We'll see if he continues this after [livejournal.com profile] jasra and her couch move in. We shall also see how he copes with her cat, for that matter!

Sheep suicide in Turkey.

Now I can't decide if they were a) playing follow the leader, and the leader was a horribly manipulative, suicidal sheep, b) thought that jumping off a cliff looked like fun, c) were really tired of their lives, d) knew something _horrible_ was coming and preferred death... Weeeeeeird.
