[moving, apartment, kitty]
Jul. 8th, 2005 10:22 amI have an awful lot of friends moving in the coming weekend (one household each Sat, Sun, and Mon). Unfortunately, having _just_ finished moving, myself, I don't have the energy to help any of them... (or, for that matter, _time_ to help any of them!)
On the plus side, whatever rodent is/was in my wall was _quiet_ last night and this morning. Possibly not there anymore, I can't tell.
And my cat meowed at me _after_ I was already awake and about to get up to go to the bathroom. (still woke up more than I would have had he not meowed, but that's tolerable, where being awakened by his meowing is not)
So, not so ridiculously tired, today. Thankfully. Yesterday was rough!
On the plus side, whatever rodent is/was in my wall was _quiet_ last night and this morning. Possibly not there anymore, I can't tell.

This morning, when I sat down to eat my breakfast, he took very little time to jump up into my lap and figure out how to curl himself so that he wouldn't fall off, purring loudly the entire time.
It is, I note, very difficult to go to work when there is a warm, loudly purring kitty in one's lap. I did, of course, pet him lots and leave a few minutes later than I'd intended.
