It is, in fact, very early. Apparently they wake people at 5am, not 6am, after the sleep study. And I was awake at 4:30 for bathroom need, so got up then. It's good that I was as tired as I was, having slept poorly for a few nights, or I'm not sure I'd have slept much, being all covered in wires, and all.

Tired now.

And, I missed one of the few thunderstorms which actually made it to Andover! I saw parts of it on the way to the sleep study, and it looked to have been quite impressive. I like rain when it's downpouring and lighting and thunder, and doesn't last for days. And I _still_ haven't been around anyone I'm dating while there's a lightning storm... _that_ ought to be interesting, when it finally happens!

Was reasonably easy to sleep, other than the wires all over the place, since it was _quiet_, unlike at home. Missed my cat, though. And, more strongly than I had been when I was sleeping at home earlier in the week, I missed [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe.

I have nifty co-workers. And, as of a few minutes ago, I have a _huge_ container of baking soda. Yes.

And, I must go to the pet store nearby before going home, to get a big container of Nature's Miracle. And then! Blacklight from [livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha, and wet vac from [livejournal.com profile] volta.

Next week, I must remember to snag vacuum from [livejournal.com profile] ratatosk.

Home around 3pm, to get stuff and comfort my kitty and pack (for the weekend, as well as more generally!), then to [livejournal.com profile] volta's for wet vac. Then Woburn!

Today, in the weather report for my brain:

Scattered gigglefits punctuated by many insistent mewings.

Thankfully, my co-workers are used to me!

Not expecting much net access (or much interest in or time for it) this weekend. FYI.

It's unfortunate, but I think the couple of times that the carpets were cleaned before I got to them means that most of the stains (probably some smell there, too) are no longer able to be removed. Some were removable, though, so I'm going to get more Nature's Miracle and work on the room which was both the worst initially and in which I ran out of stuff. After this weekend.

And, there is baking soda on all the carpets, although not as thickly as I'd like, since I didn't get enough.

My kitty is going to _hate_ me, since I'm vanishing for a weekend, while he's very stressed...

Very tired. Long day. Food, brief notes to various people, then sleep. Am packed. And am nervous. :)
